SL410 successfully readed dump.bin file with r24rf08,
svp password dont work.
could this be require a TCPA unlock service?
and also when power on
0199: System Security - Security password retry count exceeded.

Hello,

We have to fix a few things in the dump and the eeprom will be rewritten.

1. In our store www.allservice.ro/store/utils/ purchase W24RF08 + 1 Additional service, then download and install W24RF08 (to same PC used with reader is preferable)
2. Fill out the register.doc with payment details and hardware ID generated by the program and email it to us.

and 1 more thing sir
we also have other lenovo unit that have a hdd password too.
does the HD Security Tools 1.4b can calc or remove the hdd password?
the hdd is a seagate ST320L007.

is there a possibility that the password could not be crack by EraseOn?
if it was encrypted by passphase? what if eraseon cant crack the password. is there any other solution to make the hdd reusable again.

If the other laptop you talk abut is a SL412 and has passpharse enabled but SVP = HDP, then we can unlok it.

EraseON can crack the password when is not passphrased as Bobby says above.
Otherwise, throw it away and buy a new unit.
