|
|
Finally I managed to disassemble my TP, but I cannot take out the EEPROM from the mainboard, and also the TP is now a lot of different parts, I cannot turn on the computer and wait for the prompt.
Can I just attach the device to the EEPROM ( inside the mainboard), how about the power supply? use the device with 3 AA batteries?
Or I can only choose either take the EEPROM out or solder the wires to the EEPROM, assemble back and then read the data?
Thanks a lot! |

You partialy answered the question yourself.
Normaly, you should solder 2 tiny wires on SDA&SCL and one to the laptop GND (anyways is better to check the eeprom GND first). Then assemble back the machine carefully to not damage the wires insulation.
Don't unsolder the eeprom, it is not necessary. |
