Any one knows to reset bios password for Dell c640 laptop?
I tried paper clip to short .... NEVER work for me.

C640 has 24C04 8 pin eeprom. You have to use PonyProg with the simple i2c interface or better the driven i2c and retrieve the dump.

The password is located at 0x110 and/or 0x190 in the dump, use IBMpass 2.1 Lite to decode that. IBMpass here:
