I was able to successfully dump my T42 eeprom code. but when i open the dump.bin using ibmpass 2 the password did not reveal. can you please assist me if i am doing something wrong. thanks

Hello,

Got the dumps, the laptop is not locked with SVP.
1. Remve the drive - it may be locked.
2. If 1. doesn't work, remove the 3V back-up cell and the main battery then and apply a short circuit between the 2 connector's pins - on the motherboard.

Hi.
I have a T42, both with pop(i think so). When I open my dump file in IBMpass 2.1 Lite, i see letters and numbers in 0x330. But it dosnt works as pw.

Hi,

I guess you have a german keyboard over there.
The password is "d7yhd7b" (EN) or "d7zhd7b" (DE)
