Hi,
I have the TP T21 to unlock but i don't know about soldering. The chip is 14 pins.

Can anyone tell me the pins locate on the doc of the laptop plz.

Hi,

The chip has SDA and SCL at pins 8 and 10. If there is any corespondance to the docking port connector, get an ohmeter and checkit out. I sincerely don't see why would you use the docking since you may attach 2 probes on the eeprom legs.

Of course, no need to solder if you use 2 probes. Or 2 needles attached to SDA and SCL wires.
And use a gator clip for the GND wire on VGA out nuts.

I been going through the forum and saw that some people are building circuit with MAX232 IC to unlock T2x password where as with the T4x only circuit is needed is the two zenor and two resistor ones...

Cant the simpler (two zenor and two resistor) circuit be used on T2x units?

Please advise.

Yes, of course they can. But the driven interface is indeed more qualified for in-system programming.
