Hello,
don't know if this model uses the same algorithm, but you should check this post:

My friend, I can read and write, yes.
I wonder if you read the generator's help, there are 3 predefinite codes that you must type in at the password prompt, one after another, in order to get the damn service code.
The codes are:
3hqgo3
jqw534
0qww294e
See the FSC generator (..and that stands for Fujitsu Siemens Computers)

I just wanted to help you... |

I forgot to mention that we can unlock this too.
The unlock code for your laptop will be:
z69irqt
This code is permanent, for a given password. _________________ Victor Voinea

Hi,
I have the same problem with an Xi1526.
The strange thing is that I don't get the service code. Altough I enter the three passwords correctly, the system locks after the third attempt.
The only code that I get is 15448.
Maybe somebody can help me.
Thx. |

Hopefully that code is shown on screen and is not taken from a sticker. The pwd is "5p8p51v" or "iu3fknl". My bet is for the first one. _________________ Victor Voinea

Hi again,
unfortunately, both of the pwds don't work.
The code 15448 is in fact shown on screen, when the "System Disabled" message appears.
Is there any other thing that I could try?
I've been at a locale PC and laptop service company, but they refuse to unlock the laptop without a receipt (which has been lost...)

I have done quite a few Xi1526 without a glitch, but maybe I am missing out something here.
Anyway, as soon as I get another one I will do a BIOS update and test the generator to see if it's still accurate.
I didn't even bother to open this thing, I promise I will do it and I'll search for the solution. _________________ Victor Voinea
