Hi,

I currently have a MAX3232 based RS232 to TTL converter (used to flash the xbox360 dvd-rom), has four wires
GND
3.3V VCC
TX (to TTL-I1)
RX (to TTL-O1)

Can I use this reader(MAX3232)? Need the TTL-O2 exactly as the drivern-i2cprog.pdf (I see it goes to SCL but just want to sure)?
If so I think I need to go for the simple-i2cprog and build from scratch.

Regards,
V

You have to modify the circuit a lot. The driven programmer is not using RX/TX from serial port, so you have to redo the serial port connections.
And the TTL outputs towards SCL/SDA need the diodes and resistors.
And so on and so forth
