I am abit unclear of the whole procedure regarding the T500 passwords. I would like to know if I need to reprogram the eeprom after I purchase the software from you guys, or do I just get the password. and does the TCPA thing encrypt the supervisor password too ? because that is all I need. there is no POP.

and do i need to remove any warranty voided stickers to open the case ? eg. xbox360

T500 has the standard issue. If the passphrase is turned off then all you have to do is to read the eeprom and decode the password with ibmpass lite. Both programs, the reader and ibmpass, are freeware.
Well, if passphrase turns to be set, the laptop is "TCPA locked" and you micht need our help. TPCA unlock service is $25 and W24RF08 ($30) is also required for the start.

A: Only if passphrase is set, as I stated above. You must purchase the writer (first time) and the service. We will patch the binary dump to reset the lock.
Yes, password is encrypted. POP is a different thing, is not in eeprom but in CMOS. What lockes the laptop for real is actually the SVP - which is kept in eeprom.

A: There's no such warranty stickers, but if yo use any, work gently and nice Smile, will you?
