Hello,

I did read a lot through all topics I found.
I got the problem that I forgot my supervisor and hard disk password.
I can still boot up and get into bios with my fingerprint.
I did activate a passphrase and questions to restore it but I can't restore it because I am not anymore an user (at least the programm doesn't remember).

So can I recover or delete that password with your software?
And do you have a manuel how to open the z60 completely?
As far as I konw i need to put wires at the TPM Chip to dump it, or am I wrong?

If passphrase is on then you need the full kit of PC8394 programming tools. The TCPA unlock service will be a bonus too.

It has to be partially dismantled, you may follow the Hardware Maintenance Manual as a guide.

Code:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-39298

Software comes with its own manual, that includes all necessary to operate the software.

Thank you for your information.

Do you also provide a tool to remove a hard disk password?
I don't care if the data on the disk is lost, just need to get it working (would be good if the secret partition will still work after that)

Hello,

We can provide a program that will unlock the HDD if one of the two HDPs (master or user) is identical with the SVP. That is included with the TCPA unlock service and comes as a bonus. The program is a modified version of KeyON from our HD Security Tools and will be built specially for that drive.

That means, I can't break the hard drive without reading the svp?

If i would know the svp, I would also know my hdp and wouldn't need to break it anymore.
/edit

Is there a way to read out just the normal power on password?
I am sure all three passwords are the same and as far as I know the power on password is saved in the bios and not in the atmel.

You will read the TPM chip with our software and we will have the SVP certificates. There's no other way, but to access TPM chip with PC8394 tools.

Case closed.
