Hello,
I've got problem with my t400 and I thinking it is possible to do Yours method on this model. T400 has security chip so?? Can I remove password in this model???

And wher is the chip on this motherboard.

Please help and sorry for my poor english.

Salut,

T400 has an 8pin eeprom just like T61 or T500. You gotta use R24RF08 to read it and IBMpass lite to decode the dump.
