Hi,

I have an Lenovo R61 which I bought second hand a while back. It's worked pretty well until recently when I had to reset the BIOS trying to sort out a problem with USB. The PC now needs me to enter a supervisor password which I don't have. I've followed the info on how to get the dump and have what I'm fairly happy is a successful file. I've tried the password found at 0x338 using all the translations but it just doesn't seem to be working. Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

0x388 = 82 3c 2b a0 0a 0e db 25
which translates with Alternative Scancode to 'fAY246 E' but this doesn't work

It is very possible that the laptop is TCPA locked, but to be sure we must take a look at the dump. Send the dump at support-at-allservice.ro
