Hi there,
i have done the procedure with my T61, soldered, got the bin file and tried with ibmpass, seems that this is locked because there is no password on it,
my question to Victor is :
if i will pay the service 25+30 usd if iam not wrong, then i have to sent the register doc with the bin file attached? and then i will receive this bin file patched so i can read the password or i have to do the same procedure (soldering again)? iam comfused

Hello,
The procedure is correct. You will receive the patched dump and you will use the eeprom writer to reflash the eeprom and the laptop will be locked with a known SVP, that means unlocked.
