| Hi guys need help! i have a IBM think pad t21 laptop, when i push the power button its loads up the bios then asks for a password with a white padlock on the left hand side with a wee number one on it. is there a cure to get by this password. i have tried clicking left and right on the mouse when its loading up to bypass it but no joy can anyone help |

Hello wulliem86,
if the screen shows a cylinder with a number 1 and a padlock, that's the HDD password, get a new hard drive to replace it and you are ready to go, just need to install an operating system.
