hello
I was wondering why the 240x [on tutorial page - http://www.allservice.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=240x&start=0] is listed with the orange print in the first post. Does it mean the procedure of password retrieval has not been fully tested with this model.
I managed to read the contents of the r24rf08 eeprom on 240x [2609-61g]. The problem is that it contains no data at all! It is full of zeroes. Has anyone been faced the same problem? What does that mean? Or am I overlooking something?
kind regards

It was orange by mistake, I corrected it now.
It doesn't matter what model it is. If the eeprom is 24RF08 then the software will do the job.
If you have a resulting dump 0 Kb of size, then the software prompted you some errors. If you have 1024 bytes of zeros then you have an interface or wiring problem.
Also is better to read carefully the tutorials, the practice section written by Wolfman, and other topics here, before posting. Maybe you'll find the answear quickly. Use the forum search it will help you a lot.
Finally, if you have problems for real, feel free to email at support-at-allservice.ro.
