hi.
have a HP compaq nc4400 with power on password, old tricks like as :
cmos batery and ac adapter doesn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t work
please help me

The password is in BIOS.
I didn't test on nc4400, but for nc4010:
6F1A0 > 6F27F, fill block with FF |

Tried with above method on nc4400, unfortunately, it didn't work. Anyone has a backup bin file from working machine? |

| one user in hp forum claimed removing cmos battery for 1/2 hour could remove the power on password, i'm not that lucky guy. |
