Hi, can you do it password for Hp Elitebook 8440p, after 3 times when
i press wrong passoword showing for me just
keybord on screen if i try 4 times showing for system is locked.
"System Locked
Press the power button to restart the system
"

Hello,
HP 8440p (like almost all HP's) has the ADMIN and System passwords recorded in BIOS chip.
The unlock procedure is to read the BIOS, clean the lock, sign it and flash the BIOS back with the resulted dump. For this you need the SPEG programmer http://www.allservice.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1311
We (at allservice.ro) can clean the BIOS and sign it without losing the original DMI data which is necessary in order to prevent non committed state errors.
We provide the service free for one laptop with each SPEG programmer purchase. |
