i buy t30 with error that the bios is locked. after a lot searching in the internet, i look in my mainboard and i discover that the 24rf08 is remove for some reson...
i try to find where can i buy the chip in israel, but no one sell things like that here...
so, i need help with 2 thing:
1. where can i buy the chip?
2.if i buy blank chip, whit what i fill it?
im realy need help with this becouse i dont have the money to buy new mainboard (its cost here 100$ for used one)

Hi,

Those 24RF08 chips can only be found on the motherboards, all those avaialbe on some websites are just surrogates, not even for industrial purpose which will have a very short life.
You may buy a damaged board and take the chip for replacement but it must be written with correct info, a blank chip won't work.

i read somewere that 24c08 can replce the 24rf08...
for your ide, i try to find mainbord in the web, but i cant find it...
2ed hend mainboard cost like new one Sad

i find someone here in israel that he have chip burner and he have the chip, but he dont have data to fill in.
i know the easy way is to replace the board, but im really dont have the money for this...
there is a place that i can fint dump file for t30? or can i need to buy new chip from atmel?

To get it solved you must buy the eeprom writer license. But first get the chip.
