Hi!

This works for both NC4000 and NC4010.
Remove main battery and AC adapter.
Remove 2 screws for power button cover.
Remove 1 screw for keyboard.
Remove cover then keyboard.
Disconnect BIOS battery located under the letter "Z".
Let it sit for a few minutes.
Put back together.
Done.

This is for the NC4000 or NC4010 with TCPA.
If you still get Admin Password prompt trying to go to BIOS then it is TCPA locked.
If you try to remove the TCPA card it still will ask for Admin Password.
Removing BIOS battery does not work.
The TCPA board is under the alt key.
Where to go from here I am not sure.
Good luck. _________________ Low flying aircraft.
