|
|
Can anybody please help me ?
I recently installed Windows ME onto an IBM ThinkPad T20 which had
previously had Win98 installed on it. This was ok except for a couple of
missing drivers for the modem / ethernet and graphics.
There was also a second partition using two thirds of the drivespace
with Linux Red Hat installed on it. This was not required so I deleted
it using a red hat boot / install cd rom. I powered down and now I
cannot power up again. Nothing happens when power button is pressed,
no lights nothing, the only light showing is the battery light when power
lead is connected.
Any help or advice very much appreciated

I don't see any reason why deleting a UniX partition should give those symptoms.
If you press the power button just a little more doesn't start at all?
Then remove and reattach the main batt and try again. |
