Hi Guys
got another problem that maybe you guys can help with : about 3 weeks ago i was listening to the radio on my laptop (t30) with the page dropped down, i was searching through the web , when suddenly i got what sounded like intrferance through the radio, quite loud buzzing type noise,i closed all open pages , but the noise continued.so i rebooted the noise was gone, but so had the power supply,so i figured that something had gone wrong with the power supply and thats what had created the noise. so tonight i got a similar noise, i only had my browser open, so closed it down, noise continued, rebooted antd the noise is away, as i`m waiting delivery of a power supply, my laptop was connected to a dock, everything seems fine, but was just wondering if their could be a fault somewhere, any ideas.
cheers Joe |

The power supply is the AC adapter, I guess.
When you play music, do you hear some distorsions, specially when the volume is high or too low? |

HI VICTOR
YES THAT IS CORRECT THE AC SUPPLY, NO THE SOUND IS PERFECT,IT COMES WITHOUT ANY WARNING, ALTHOUGH BOTH TIMES IT HAS HAPPENED WHEN I`VE OPENED A PAGE IN MY BROWSER, I BOUGHT THIS LAPTOP FROM EBAY A FEW MONTHS BACK WITH A CRACKED SCREEN,THERE WAS A LITTLE RESIDUE WITHIN THE CASE AND I KNOW THE SCREENS CONTAIN A LITTLE MECURY,IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THIS COULD BE THE PROBLEM ? I DID CLEAN IT OUT,BUT AS I SAID IT WAS VERY LITTLE AMOUNT. THANX FOR THE REPLY VICTOR
REGARDS JOE |

Sorry for the late answear.
I think it was only a software problem and you have nothing to worry about. You said you were listening to the radio (web stations I presume) and maybe one activeX component failed and the sound system crashed. |
