| some one put pass admin in my t40 , i search in net for solution i put cmospwd kill , and now my laptop don't boot it freez in first screen and i can not acces to bios , like there is no bios , i buy the solution but , can i flash the bios to have acces ? the pb now is not pass but is to work my bios , if i can flash my bios with this solution , how i can do it , and where is the file bios to put in eeprom ......... |

| When it freezes what are the on-screen POST messages? The IBM logo appears at least? |

yes its appears i make u pic too see the first before i tape acces bios the second after i tape acces but i don't know how i can send it |

No, I didn't say that. Maybe you got me wrong, I said that is possible that after the BIOS update you are asked to enter and clarify some settings there. But you can't because you don't know the password.
Anyway, is a good practice to disable the BIOS password prior making the update. And again you don't know the SVP

i mean in previous that if i had do the update , i can read the svp normaluy , in this new update there is not encryption that i can't have the pass with ibmpass ? |
