same problem here friends aspire keeps asking for hdd password the number its showing is 50516627 if any one can help me would be most grateful
sorted now great site very happy spent a few hours trying to sort |

| My key is 73798665. The calculator returned 62600261 I entered the code and received Password Check Fail!! I have a Aspire One D255. Can anyone help? |

According to my plans, 62690261 is correct for key=73798665
If you get another key after entering the first one, then continue until is unlocked.
If the unlock won't happen no matter what you try, then the drive was not locked into that laptop, (if there's a hard drive in there)
