Will removing the supervisory password also remove the hard disk password?
The Thinkpad I own does not have power on password, when I pull out the hard disk I am able to log into the BIOS. Though I am unable to get past the password screen when the hard disk is in. FYI... The hard diskis a hitachi hard disk
Thanks in advance for any help. |

If you can enter BIOS and make changes there then only the HDP is set.
SVP and HDP ain't the same unless the user set them. |
