Hi,
you need to check if it generates a code on-screen after 3 incorrect passwords, HTS545025B9A is just the model number of the Hard Drive.

Upon initial boot I recieve HTS545025B9ALOCK when I hit enter I recieve an error "Please input password for Hitachi HTS545025B9A". After 3 attempts I recieve the option to "enter unlock password" or "system continue". If I select the first one I recieve the original error. If I select the second option I recieve "no bootable device". It also will not allow to reinstall Windows 7. |

But doesn't it show an 8-digit KEY at a certain point or an error code of 5-digits? |
