hi
i have TP42 locked
if i try to enter bios (F1) i get :
ERROR
0271:check time and date settings
ERROR
0176:sistem has been tampered with
i can not read dump from eprom 24rf08
any help will be apriciated

That happens when you remove the CMOS battery.
You have to enter BIOS to set the time/date and save and the 0176 error will pass away. But if you don't know the supervisor password then you must find it in that eeprom.
Why you couldn't read it ? Could you be more specific? |

i did read bin & find password ( had problems with dos window)
you are right about error 0176 (clock&date settings solve it)

how about licence for one or few HDD unlocking
( i only have this one & im not in laptop servising buisnes  ) |
