Hello to all!
I have a problem with a Compaq V2000 notebook. It stayd for about 6 months unused on a desk, unplugged from Mains but with battery in and the phone cable plugged-in.
Now it doesn't startup and no LEDs are on, not even when I press the power key.
I've opened the notebook, checked the fuse, but it's ok and also I have power on the FET transistors.
What else should I check?
The laptop is almost new... used only for about one month, in the office only.
Thanks |

Maybe it need an extra time to charge the battery off the limit, normally it should start without it.
Are you sure the AC adapter delivers the nominated tension? |
