do you know if it is possible to clear the svp on t440s?
Or is it not stored on EEPROM, similar to t440p?

i guess all thinkpads starting with 2013 models don't have that old eeprom. so no solution

Not yet, as we were busy with some Fujitsu models which btw we can unlock them all now.

But T440 doesn't have the passwords stored in BIOS flash either so if you see some chinks selling BIOS chips on ebay, simply avoid them.
