I was hoping someone would be able to help me here.
I been trying to reset the SVP password on the X220 tablet however after reading the data from the chip and opening the dumped file in the IBMPass 2.1 Software the lines 330 and 340 come up with 0s.

Is X220 tablet uses different type of encryption or something that IBMPass tool cannot read or am I doing something wrong?

I can enter the BIOS on the laptop by just pressing the enter without entering the password but most of the options are disabled I guess due to not being able to login as supervisor.

Not sure if this would make a difference but it seems like the biometric login is also enabled and is asking for a finger scan or ESC to enter a password....

I would be happy even with resetting the password if it cannot be retrieved...

Yes, X220 has the encryption active by default.
