hello,
first thanks victor for all you've done free. Now the questions:
-I've never soldered before, so will I be able to solder on the pins of the chip ?
-I noticed a lot of people are using the second method( with breadboard). Why do they do like this? The first method seems easier.
-if i solder the 3 wire to the correct pins of the chip, that i do the exactly the same thing as on this picture (i guess the big thing is a db9 female?)
, that i follow the "software" instructions in your tutorial, and that that i connect the wires of the chip and the platform with "gator clips", will it work well ?

thanks in advance ^^

Driven-i2cprog is more reliable and works in any condition (almost).
SIPROG depends on the COM port current, it is fast and easy but needs a high impedance on CTS line, when working in -system.

If you chose to build SIPROG, then be sure you use 5.1 zeners and they are well polarized.

Believe me or not, but better if you ask somebody, a friend maybe, who knows. It is the best advice I could give you.
