Hi,
To reset the subject I've ordered your SPEG Programmer kit, but have a couple of questions before You are preparing it to dispatch.
1. Do I need to buy a special clip in addition to the kit (unfortunately You didn't mention it in description to the procedure)?
2. Do I have to unplug main and CMOS (both) batteries in my notebook before reading BIOS?
It'll make impossible to enter the computer because BIOS will be reset and unknown password will be activated (I mean it's risky). And is it possible to left CMOS battery plugged?
Thanks in advance |

Hello,
You must have the CMOS battery unplugged.
You will need a Pomona 5250 clip for the SOIC SPI.

But I've seen also QFN chips in some later ones so here you need to solder enamel wires to the leading PCB traces.
If you need something, just email us directly. We offer support via email to our customers. |
