Can the following be fixed using the method described in the https://www.allservice.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3044 topic?
The following is displayed on the screen upon power on and the bios(Setup) password is unknown:
0271: Check Date and Time settings
0199: System Security - Security password retry count exceeded.
Press F1 to enter Setup.
The laptop is Lenovo T480 20L5. |

Yes. After SVP unlock, the laptop will clear the 0199 as soon as you enter in BIOS. _________________ Victor Voinea

Ok, so I need to open the laptop, locate the flash memory chip, remove it from the board, dump the complete content using a flash programmer and send it to you (with payment of course)? |

Do not remove the chip! Read it as it is _________________ Victor Voinea

I'll need a little more information on how to do that. I should connect the programmer directly to the pins of the flash memory and power it on without removing it from the board or there is another method?
Does this also apply for programming with your patched bios? |

This requires a device that is capable of reading/writing the chip correctly in system. The programmer will ensure the chip is correctly powered.
This will "apply" for all the operations done with the BIOS chip. _________________ Victor Voinea
