I see that there is a solution to the T43 password available. (I have used the one for the T30 before) Before I buy it, I didn't understand what was meant by the part where the license includes TCPA and CRC reset on one machine. Is that something I would need? Also, is there a powered version of the circuit in case you are reading and writing to a chip on a mainboard that is not installed?

Thanks

"CRC repair service" as well as "TCPA reset service" are two services that we provide for free (one laptop only) for those customers who purchased the full software kit.

TPCA service is needed when the password is encrypted using passphrase. In this case it cannot be revealed with IBMpass, so the TPM chip must be rewritten with a modified binary.

If I understand correctly, are you reffering to a stand alone motherboard?
Well, the board works as it is, if you have the keyboard attached and a power supply connected to it, why not?

Thank you for the reply. If I need the TCPA reset service, How does that work? Do I send you the laptop? Where? Also what is the cost for the service after the first?

Thanks again. This board is great.

No. You will just have to use the software and do yourself the job.

In case of the TCPA encryption, you must send us the binary that you read using the RPC8394, we will reset the lock and you'll have to write it back to the chip.

The cost of CRC repair or TCPA reset is $25, but as I said the first are free.
