is there any way to unlock t60 without entering the bios set up menu?
I have lost my thinkpad supervisor password, and then some people give me an advise to clean the coms by removing the battery...
and now every time the computer start up there is an Error messsage 176, saying that the computer has been tampered, and the supervisor password is required, which I don't have.
So, can I use the tools here to find my password back without entering the bios?
It's very urgent, thanks for any help in advance. |

Yes, definitely.
PC8394 tools is what you need.
T60 won't be dismantled, you have to remove only the keyboard and palmrest (5 screws in total). _________________ Victor Voinea
