SPEG 1.3 in progress...

[Edit] SPEG Flash programmer 1.3 for High Density SPI Flashes is available now at www.allservice.ro/store/utils [/Edit]


We added High Density Serial Flash Addressing (32bit Addressing) to access latest 32Mbyte+ flash SPI memories.

They are largely used in Playstation 4 - MX25L25635FMI-10G - and others. SPEG now will be able to detect the chip and switch from 3byte to 4Byte addressing accordingly. This will allow us to repair/unlock BIOSses in this range

The new X1 carbon Gen2 and *40 series of thinkpads like T440, X240, and so on are using a more "sophisticated" way to store the password. We believe is the SMSC MEC 1633L involved after a few tests. We will post the results soon.

All latest 2013 and 2014 Apple iMac and Macbooks can be unlocked by us, no matter if it's icloud & PIN lock out or Firmware lock out.
We are able keep the original BIOS,with processor ID and stepping settings, network settings, everything original and in good working order.

Beware of those selling surrogate chips or the "techies" using the old dumb method of copying dumps from another machine, cause the macbook will not work correctly or not at all.

A speedy macbook (as well as a Thinkpad or a HP) must have the original BIOS.[img][/img]

Some news.

One of our good clients, Mr Timurlenk who owns a service center in Istanbul, asked me to study a Vaio T Ultrabook with Anti-Theft lock. It took us a about 2 days of testing some of changes I applied to the BIOS then we successfully did it. (Sorry about your missing fee, Mcafee).

I mention here that we unlock Sony laptops by patching the original BIOS, in the same way we do for Macbooks or HPs or Acer's, Fujitsu's and more.

For the moment we succeeded in unlocking the T440s (16Mb BIOS) regarding power on password lock (system lock) and 0199 System Security— Security password retry count
exceeded.

As you know when 0199 error shows up at POST, the user is asked to enter in BIOS and reset it, but that's impossible due to the SVP lock.
In order to reset 0199 we must patch the BIOS so what we have to do is to read the BIOS with SPEG programmer (or any programmer that can do it), patch it and flash it back.

Laptop will boot normally, but BIOS access (via SVP password) will still be locked.

Update: The method we work now is to patch a portion of BIOS to allow SMBUS access to MEC1633L, we also did patch a BIOS that ignores the password trap but TPM is still active, more work in progress

Some of our partners in Canada, Japan, UK and Italy, also in US, asked for our expertise to unlock Panasonic laptops/tablets. They were models like CF-31, FZ-G1, CF-SX2 and more.

Started progressively and 2 days of testing - thanks to Yurii at LT Computers Canada who made me start the work, Andrew, Dave and Izumi - we're not surprised to see they are all (well, almost all) using the same system. We unlocked them nice and clean.

To cut it short, we can patch the BIOS binaries and remove the passwords, the original BIOS will be the same, no surrogates, all clean. Additionally, we can reset the counter "Cumulative Operation Time" or "Operating Time" shown in BIOS, we can also encode and inject a new S/N if required with all new CRC adjusted.

Like for Macbook/iMac, HPs, and the others that require BIOS patching, the Panasonic unlock service is only $35 for our SPEG registered users or $45 otherwise (you need a flash programmer to read/write the BIOS if you do not use our SPEG programmer).

As many of you noticed, the unlocking solution for the new Lenovo models is available since October 2015, we unlocked a few hundreds of laptops already for our partners and customers.

The models listed are T440, T450, T540, X1 Yoga all generations, X1 carbon all generations, X240, X250, W540, W541, W550, Helix 20CG/20CH, Thinkpad Yoga all, Xeon based Thinkpad P50 (which I'm using right now typing this article) and P70, T470, T570, etc.

We're working to release the new generation of SPEG Universal flash programmer on high speed USB.
The legacy SPEG programmer which has a decent operational speed will continue to be available as a cost effective solution and will remain in production.

Regarding Fujitsu laptops and tablets such as Lifebook, Arrows, etc we unlocked tones of them during the last 7-8 years. Some of our old partners in Japan and Korea are periodically sending new BIOS binaries to be unlocked. I could say that after Thinkpads, Macbooks and HP's, Fujitsu laptops are the most present in our daily work.

So, if you need a BIOS repair or unlock, simply read the BIOS chips (usually there's 2 chips) and send us the genuine binaries to be cleaned up or fixed. The service is $35/machine for Fujitsu's

Nov 2017 updates.

-Lenovo T470, T570 unlocked.

-Lenovo Chromebook N23 Yoga unlocked succesfully. Turning on the developer mode, etc. We also experimented with N20 and was a total success. All you need is SPEG programmer and our assistance. The service is $45 for general public or $35 for our SPEG programmer users.

-We unlocked 2017 Apple Macbook, iMac all year long. We offer one free unlock with each SPEG programmer license (that is required for the unlock if you don't have a programmer), otherwise you can order the unlock for $35-$45m depending on model.
Keep in mind that we are the only ones that can unlock this correctly. NO deleting things randomly, NO surrogate BIOS, NO ME region replaced, NO icloud re-lock.

Avoid fake MACBOOK chip sellers on ebay and, more importantly, avoid releasing your original BIOS dumps to some limited knowledged individuals populating the so called support forums! The BIOS contains sensitive data about your Macbooks, such as last used location, ownership, etc. You don't want those black marketed on some obsure forums or sold in collections by some kung-fu fellows on ebay for good money.
