Have you any idea if this laptop is working with the same atmel chip ?

Can i use your technique to recover the SVP ?

Hi,
Heve you made some progress in this case, because I have now exactly same problem.

This toshiba has Atmel 24C08A onboard near RAM socket. And superIO chip SMSC lpc47n252. I don't know exactly where the password is stored, because I tried to remove the eeprom and it asked for password anyway.

superIO chip has 2 banks CMOS, but Both should be backup by one battry, wich i removed and it cleared date and settings, but not password.

Keydisk, LPT or USB dongle can't be used for this type.

Any reply is very appreciated.
