hello eveyone, and especially hello my friend victor, sorry it has been a while since i have posted but i was having trouble with a toshiba A55 laptop that had master lock set. i found the chip if anyone needs the info, i tried to upload a picture but i do not know how, so if victor could download it from my server and post here i would appreciate it. the URL is

unfortunately i messed up and broke a leg off of the eeprom when reading so i do not have a dump, if anyone else does i would really appreciate a copy, as of now i have a blank eeprom i am trying to make work, thanks Smile

But do you still have the chip? You may polish off the "plastic" around the leg, just a little, then try to solder a thin magnet wire to the remaining part.

Just a thought..
