Hi i change the motherboard on my ibm t40
the new motherboard was password free but i put the security chip of my old main board and i have always this message ibm embedded security hardware tamper detected.
I want to no wy i can do with ?
can i edit the security chip in some way or ...

No, you may not. The chip is married to the original board. You may try switching the BIOS chip too, or flash a non TCPA BIOS code. Please don't ask me for this code _________________ Victor Voinea
