As you know R24RF08 and IBMpass 2.0 lite are free for non commercial use. The main purpose is to help people recover their laptops. I can't accept nor tolerate some individuals who try to make money with this free software. If somebody wants to pay then pay the author.
Well, I was informed website that illegaly sells circuits along with my software. What to say, first it is against the copyright terms, secondly they hack the programs and wiped out the copyright info and everything you can see in the pictures. Also IBMpass 2.0 lite which is freeware is shown there as a
special tool that they developed to decrypt the passwords. You'll see in the pictures that they wiped out and modified the name displayed in the main windows, so IBMPass 2.0 Lite is now "IBMpa 2.0". Moreover, they don't sell it, only they ask for the eeprom dump and they charge money just to return the password (sounds familiar, remember?).

I don't like people that crack commercial software but at least I could understand. But those who steal and try to take advantages of free software are real morons .
Finally, the programs are protected by international copyright laws. I can't say nothing more... |
