R51 is quite a "legere" one. Is about an 8pin version of 24RF08, placed under the touchpad, so you have to remove the keyboard and palmrest.

Please, read the tutorial on how to use R24RF08 and IBMpass (comes also with the reader kit). R51 also works very fine with SIPROG, tough the driven programmer is always the best option.
