A have realy big problems with my nic. on my T60 it started with this errors shown below

Initializing Intel(R) Boot Agent GE v1.2.31
PXE-E05: The LAN adapter's configuration is corrupted or
has not been initialized. The Boot Agent cannot continue.

And after a few second and 2 beep a other error message and you need to press <ESC> to continue the boot process:

ERROR
Expansion ROM not initialized - PCI on Motherboard
Bus:00, Device:00, Function:00

Press <ESC> to continue

i googled a bit and came on this website

http://www.matinfo.ch/blog/archive/2007/01/26/intel-nic-pxe-e05-error.html

i download the iso and booted from cd and followd the on screen instructions.

the command IBAUtil.exe -NIC=1 -DEFCFG should reset my wake-on-lan to factory and indeed the error message is gone, but now in windows my nic, shows a yellow mark in device manager,
with the error ( Device cannot start CODE 10 )

i already updated the drivers of my nic but it wassen't helpfull.

i hope someone has a workaround.

Thank you
