Hi, has anyone done this with these laptops? Where can i find the eeprom chips which contain the passwords? I have a power on password, and can't get into BIOS. Is it the supervisor password? The icon is a little PC and a Lock. Do i need to read the eeprom? Or there is a software solution? Thanks

To get rid of the POP, remove the CMOS backup cell. To get rid of the SVP, you must read the 24RF08, indeed.

R24RF08 is the software reader, see the tutorial
