|
|
Hi all,
my girlfriend got a bluescreen while BIOS updating her T60. Unfortunately the notebook doesnīt boot anymore. Screen staying black, HDD light flashes for a second, afterwards only the power LED is on. Thatīs all!
In my opinion I have to change the BIOS chip, correct?
Where do I find it on the mainboard? Any other ideas?
Can someone please help me?
Thanks guys! |

The BIOS chip has to be rewritten, is a 8 pin DIP serial flash 25L1605, marked U49. If you need the real eeprom content, email us.
But I think there could be a problem regarding the TCPA, after reflashing. I am not sure if they still keep married, or this has been moved to the embedded chip now. It could be a good way to test. |
