| how can I find out if my mother board is bad, I have a Dell optiplex gx 270 and it will not boot up ,at first I was getting a blinking amber color light and the pcu and power supply fans will try to start but stop right away, no video, no beeps, so I removed the memories, Hdd ,pci cards and check the case intrusion switch and now I'm getting an amber light still no video or beeps, what do I need connected in order to get a video and enter the Bios? |

If you say you have no beeps than it's the mobo or the processor.
If you have the possibility to check the proc somewhere else than you can see if it's the proc or the mobo.
