|
|
Hi,
I've dusted off an old TP770 of mine which I thought to be bricked with the 175 CRC error until I fond this site.
I decided to try to build the simple interface and read the 24c01 chip on it.
Everything went perfectly, I have a dump file, and I can see the correct password using IBMPass.
My question now is, would it be possible to correct the checksum error? I've not been able to determine if the writer can write to the 24c01.
I have a working TP770 which I could dump and use if the CRC error cannot be corrected in the failing dump.
With Regards.
Mikaael.
p.s.
Let me know if anybody can use the dump file for anything useful, I'd be grateful to be able to contribute to this project. |
