SPEG is a multi device programmer for SPI Serial Flashes. The package contains two components, the software and the hardware used to interface with Serial Flash chips through SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) protocol. The software communicates with the hardware interface via PC’s parallel port (LPT). The hardware part is powered by USB 5V+ (version 1.0a and above).
SPEG can be used as stand-alone programmer, as well as for in-system programming (ISP or ICSP). Supports a wide range of SPI chips manufacturers and types used for BIOS in modern machines (PC, MAC, PDA, Playstation, etc). Also this is the package that can help you unlock the new Lenovo, HP, Fujitsu, Acer, Asus and Apple’s Macbook Pro/Air
