Shocked I need help with this I have a question, about the procedure to get the password for the tp. I have so far built the simple circuity with the db9 female connector connected to my diagonstic pc now before I connect the three wires to the 24rf08 module i have to allow the thinkpad to bootup and go through its POST sequence right? Does it matter If I took the hard drive out when it boots up? (it blocks access to the 24rf08 module) Will the process work ok?

Doesn't matter, you can remove the drive, it has nothing to do with the 24RF08.

Edit: But do it before, not when is booting up Smile
