|
|
Dear allservice..
Recently I bought t60. I put Supervisor password, power-on password and hdd password.
Except SVP, I know other passwords. And I can boot winXP using fingerprint swiping.
Is there some method that allows to read directly epprom dump without making some hardware?
If I must make hardware, which one must I make for t60?
And I am a novice for hardware. If somebody who already made it want to sell to me, I appreciate it.
( We can trade using Ebay.)
Thank you a lot. |

Hi and welcome to the board!
It is possible that T60P is using the PC8394T as T43. I just can't tell you exactly because is a new model and we haven't had one beyond warranty to tear it apart.
If so, then it could be done with the new PC8294 software that we launched already.
Anyway, you would need to dismantle the laptop and take a good look around.
Contact me @ support-at-allservice.ro and I will try to give you my full support in finding a solution.
Cheers
Edit: It is an Atmel security chip, we work on it right now |

T60 unlocking support included now with PC8394 Tools.
PC8394 contains two software: RPC8394 and WPC8394, schematics and manual with instructions for T60, T43 and R52.
To order the software kit, please see the link below:

First of all thank you for providing this excellent service!
Just wanted to know if the PC8394 software for the T60p can obtain a forgotten supervisor password without having to open up the machine?
I would rather not have to open up my brand new T60p |

Hi,
T43 and R52 don't need to be opened, but the rest of the new models: T60/R60/Z60 and X60 do.
In fact for T60 is just partialy, the keyboard and the palmrest have to be removed. |

Hi to all,
I have the same problem as a lot of people here, a locked T60. My question is, can this be done by someone who doesn't have any soldering experience?
I've been working with computers for 10+ years but I don't want to kill my motherboard. If someone could post pictures of a T60 that would be very helpful! |

Normally, you have to build an interface. If you don't have the necessary skils to build one yourself, then the things are very clear: You need to buy one (preferable from us, yes).
In rest is not such a big deal, with the PC8394 programming tools and the interface, anybody can unlock the laptop. That was the idea, to help anybody to do it, not just tech people. _________________ Victor Voinea

Yes,it's possible to unlock the T60 without soldering .There are some models of IBM don't need to open the device and soldering .For example=t40,t41,t42,t43,r52,x41...But you need a skill |
