Hi Victor, I need your help, I have just purchased a IBM T50 from auction but it has a password on it, can I use the simple interface to read the chip using the r24rf08? do you have any idea what IC it used on the T50? I have browing through the forum but sees like no one memtioned the T50s. Thanks ! |

T50 is a LCD monitor not a notebook, so I guess is a T60?
If you're not sure then look for the machine type (see the underneath label) |

R50 is the same as R51, it has 24RF08.
Remove the palm rest to get access to the eeprom, build the SIPROG or driven programmer and go for it!
