Hi Victor,
I followed your tutorial to the teeth and was able to read the eeprom successfully. However, upon attempting to read the file in IBMpass, the line in 0x340 reads something that I cannot input.
How do I go about obtaining the password from this dump.bin file?
Thanks very much. |

IBMpass has a translation button <AA>, use this to enable translation and take a look again at 0x338-0x33E.
If the translated word is not intelligible then it is encrypted with TCPA and the eeprom needs some of changes in there. _________________ Victor Voinea

AA is on.
Will I need to buy a license for the eeprom writer? |

If it is encrypted, you will need to do that and to pay for the TCPA reset too, because the writer is only to write eeproms.
But first I need to see the eeprom dump to be sure, please email it to support-AT-allservice.ro _________________ Victor Voinea
