Hi,
I don't know what’s wrong in 2 bin files. I can’t read it , with Ibm pass 2.1, the passwords on both. I used the Siprog interface.
Of course, I click the AA button...but nothing to read like a password (I saw TH...but it doesn't work..)
Can I use w24rf08? So, I need to buy a licence?
Please let me know, what's the solution..
Thanks a lot. |

Seems like your laptop is having passphrase option enabled in BIOS. The password is additionally encrypted with the TCPA chip.
The only solution is to reprogram the chip and to purchase a TCPA reset.
But, to be sure we have to see the eeprom dumps. support(at)allservice(d0t)ro |

t42.bin has no password (SVP is not set). The laptops is locked with POP - remove the CMOS battery or, if the logo is a cylinder with a padlock ,it is the HD password - remove the drive.
R24.bin (!?) the SVP according to IBMpass 2.1 at 0x330
Y5VYAFW - QWERTY
Y5VYQFZ - AZERTY
Z5VZAFW - QWERTZ
That's all |

Hi bob,
Thank you for your helping.
I can see the padlock without a cylinder. I'm shure that the picture is the Supervisor "SVP" or Power on password "POP" logo. Is the same logo for both of them.
SO, I remove the battery and keep you informated. |

Hi bob,
It's works ...I would like to thank you. T removed the CMOS battery and bypass the POP.
For information, you have to take an account the type of keyboard: AZERTY / QWERTY.... |

Support for French and German keyboards is added in IBMpass 2.1 Editor, which is not avialble yet, simply because we didn't finished the help documentation
I don't know if Victor will add this to the free version, but I guess it will be sooner or later.
